Each private session is different, and unique to the needs and goals of the student. Our session work is dialed up and dialed down, depending on the student's physical state, skills and abilities in that moment as well as the context of the larger goal. Private sessions are ~50 minutes in length.
Want more time for your session? 90-minute sessions are also an option and are great for rehabilitation, reconditioning and focused progressive practice. Privates are currently booked. . Small Group Spring Classes
These classes offer six experienced, intermediate level students focused instruction as they are guided through a Pilates workout across an array of tools and apparatus. These ~50 min sessions are a great way to get spring practice and a fun workout.
To ensure safety and a good class, students need to have had at least 6 private sessions in our studio and be working comfortably in the intermediate classical system. |
The studio sessions path at Temple Pilates:
In your first private session, we assess your current physical condition and postural patterns, discuss challenges and goals you have, then move you through an appropriate leveled Pilates workout that is customized for your unique needs.
Subsequent sessions continue with workouts/ programming specific to your needs and goals. You'll learn and perform foundational Pilates exercises and concepts as well as an array of other supportive tools you will use to look and feel better than ever before.
Simply put, we use the Pilates system of exercises and a few complimentary tools to strengthen what is weak, stretch what is tight, loosen what is stuck and restore your natural alignment with a program customized for your body and needs.
Once you can work safely and smoothly in the intermediate system, you'll be eligible to participate a small group spring classes. These classes are limited to six experienced students and offer a challenging workout using Reformers, Towers, Chairs and small apparatus.
