Maya brings a fusion of passion, expertise, and a deep understanding of movement to her role as a Pilates instructor.
Her foundation rooted in dance, Maya's journey in the world of movement began at the Oakley Ballet Center in Ventura. It was here that her love for the art of motion ignited, propelling her towards a future dedicated to exploring the capabilities of the human body.
Maya obtained her BFA in Dance Performance from UC Irvine in 2022. After encountering a series of injuries yet determined to stay connected to her love of movement, she shifted her focus towards fitness and physical wellness. Maya's journey led her to Equinox Pilates Institute where she obtained comprehensive certification in 2023.
For Maya, Pilates is more than a workout; it’s about cultivating a stronger, pain-free everyday existence. Working with individuals of all body types and ages, Maya has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of Pilates. Beyond toning and sculpting bodies, she's seen how it can shift perspectives and instill a profound sense of empowerment. In her small group classes to private and duets sessions Maya empowers her clients to unlock their body's potential, fostering a sense of vitality and well-being that transcends the studio walls.
